SUQQU 2021 Spring collection is about the colors of the dawn. This collection is for everyone who looks for beauty in their daily routine, and for hope in the coming spring.
SUQQU has been one of my favorite Japanese makeup brands . It has the smoothest and creamiest powder and beautiful color story. I am always following their instagram for newest releases.
From the spring collection 2021, I see lots of basic earth tone colors with a hint of orange , yellow and light grey. I am really curious about the color pay off on my eyes. Unfortunately, SUQQU is not available in the United States and Canada. The best option to purchase is from Selfridges, Harrods, and Cult Beauty.
The moment SUQQU released the spring collection on Selfridges.com, the limited edition colors has completely sold out. I was only able to purchase two eyeshadow palettes that will be in the NEW regular line 03 HIKARIGURE and 05 AKEKAGE. Selfridges has restocked the eyeshadow palettes as today. SUQQU will release the spring collection on February 4th, 2o21 at Cult beauty, Harrods and Liberty London.
New packaging, size and quality
The NEW 2021 SUQQU eyeshadow palettes are bigger in size (6.2g compare to previous 5.6g ) and the packaging is changed to manganic closure. You can see the comparison side by side photos below. The new packaging gives more of luxurious look than the previous eyeshadow palettes. New SUQQU eyeshadow palettes maintain their quality as usual which is creamy, smooth to apply, buildable colors.
03 HIKARIGURE 光暮 is Sand beige and golden brown
Hikarigure 03 – This color story is really wearable for daily routine just like SUQQU’s campaign states. There are four shades, the texture is really smooth and creamy like silk. I think this color can be worn all year long with using just couple colors from this quad.
05 AKEKAGE 緋影 is Saffron red & chic brown
Akekage 05 – This palette caught my eyes from the beginning and the color story is really suitable for the transition days from winter to early spring because of it’s Saffron red color. It reminds of wearing a chunky knitted red sweater with brown wool coat for the cold winter in the city.
I like both 03 Hikarigure and 05 Akekage palettes and I can’t wait to share the actually application on my face with you.
