My thoughts

This is my first purchase of CHANEL fragrance, and I am always interested in unisex fragrance, especially when I read about this release. The vetiver note is the key note that grabbed my attention. Because I love Bal d’Afrique from Byredo, I thought Paris-Edimbourg will probably have the similar scent. It is actually really different, the Paris-Edimbourg is more masculine than I thought.

The Composition
A powerful burst of juniper berry and cypress evolves into a warm vetiver accord with earthy undertones and smoky accents, for a warm-yet-surprisingly-fresh scent – from Chanel official website.
When applied on my skin, I immediately smelled strong citrus scent with musky note. It is refreshing, light fragrance with a strong beginning note. I think it smells better after lingering on the skin after few hours.
