Dior fall 2021 collection is here – BIRDS OF A FEATHER
Dior 2021 Birds of a Feather 459 Night Bird is one of the newest fall palettes.
From DIOR official website : The 5 Couleurs Couture eye makeup palette reinterprets the changing reflections of birds’ feathers and fall colors. It includes 5 creamy and comfortable shades. Both of these two eyeshadow palettes have unique color story with iridescent finishes that I don’t usually gravitate to. The duochrome shades are the shades I’ve been hesitating to try. But these two palettes are so beautiful with the feather motifs that made me pull the trigger on purchasing them.
The shipment took longer than usual, so I had the chance to see many people sharing their photos, swatches, videos before I actually received the items. Surprisingly, both palettes did not disappoint me at all, they are as beautiful as they are online, and the iridescent shades are not as intimidating in person. I’m so glad I purchased both 659 early bird and 459 night bird palettes.

The beautiful feather motifs are gorgeous in person. I wish my photos are in better lighting and angles to show the multiple layers of feather embossments
The Shades
All shades are either satin, metallic or with glitters.
1 : A olive green with pearl sheen.
2 : A light champagne color with yellow undertone
3 : A coral shade with satin sheen
4 : A medium dark green shade with pearly shimmer
5 : A metallic teal with brown undertone and duo-chrome bluish teal
Dior 2021 Birds of a Feather 459 Night Bird swatches
459 Night Bird is a beautiful palette with lots of micro glitters. To be honest, I wish it has at least one shade without the glitters but overall it is a beautiful palette. Additionally, the color story definitely interprets Night Bird really well. As I’m writing this post, this 459 Night Bird palette is out of stock on the Dior website.
